Consecration

“In the Bible the word consecration means ‘the separation of oneself from things that are unclean, especially anything that would contaminate one’s relationship with a perfect God.’ Consecration also carries the connotation of sanctification, holiness, or purity.”

Every year in the Month of January, we set aside a week where we consecrate ourselves from life’s distractions to solely focus our attention on our relationship with God. Through fasting, prayer, studying, we seek God’s face as a Body for instruction and guidance.

This year, our study focus is based on the book “Wounded By God’s People” by Anne Graham Lotz.

January 8 – January 15, 2017
